Weekly High/Lows

This is a new feature that I'm going to test out on the blog. I stopped the Attitude of Gratitudes - for no good reason really other than I forgot too many times in a row and then gave up - and I miss having an opportunity to reflect on my week. So here is the very first post of this kind (I'm combining last week with this week because it was chock full of goodness):

HIGH: My brother (finally) asking his beautiful girlfriend Amy to marry him on top of a castle in Scotland!
LOW: Not being able to give them giant hugs because they're living abroad.

HIGH: Crossing a bunch of boring stuff off of my To-Do list.
LOW: Realizing that Theo ate dry cat food while I was on the phone with Revenue Quebec.

HIGH: Trying a great new Taqueria near our house with an old friend. (MTLers, have you been to Maïs? It's amazeballs!)
LOW: Cleaning sticky beet juice off of every shelf in our fridge after the jar cracked without us noticing.

HIGH: My friend Julia surprised me by arranging for The Green Cleaner to come to my house for a few hours. Best. Gift. Ever. She cleaned my house using her handmade natural products and it stills smells like geranium in here. (Contact me if you want more info)
LOW: Having Theo throw sweet potato all over my newly cleaned floors and spill Baby Tempra on the newly cleaned rug.

Hope you guys had a great week! Enjoy the weekend! xo

my husband has been searching for good, authentic Mexican food in Montreal for a while now, so I'm excited to try that place out... umm, sometime in the future when our baby can last more than 1 hour between breastfeeds!
Thanks for the recommendation : )

@Lady Grey: I asked the owner if it was baby-friendly and he said that the best time was around 5pm since the place is very quiet and there are no lineups for a table. The service was quick and it's very casual - perfect for a baby :)
