I am continuously asked about my food cravings. I can't say that I've had many but I've certainly had my moments. Here are some of my kooky pregnant-lady food peculiarities:
Donuts: I can't stop thinking about them. I must have a donut-related thought at least once a day.
The Great Bolognese Massacre: Last month I ate at a not-so-classy joint with a menu that had about 600 dishes on it. Of all the options, I selected "Le Trio" or as I like to call it "A meal meant for a mammoth". It was a small pizza, a large portion of lasagna and a full portion of spaghetti. At the time, it tasted like the best thing I'd ever had, ever. I ate every last bite. And I wasn't even full. I am proud of this.
Apple juice: Every time I drink it I feel like my brain might explode from the flavor overload. It's like it's too delicious for me to even handle.
White fish: I used to LOVE cod. In fact, the week before I found out I was pregnant I purchased a jumbo pack of cod at Cost Co. But then I found out I was expecting and the thought of that fish being in the house made me angry. I even resented the frozen brocoli that sat next to it. I haven't touched white fish - or brocoli - since.
I would love to hear about some of your food cravings if you've had some!

Is it wrong that "Le Trio" made me want to figure out where to get it to eat it RIGHT NOW?!
Sounds weird but carrots with dirt on them...actually have heard this is common...ok maybe I am weird :)
Then with my second it was caramel popcorn and mcnuggets.
Where do you put all that food by the way?..
kraft dinner, V8, clementines and burgers!
this is pretty much the best post ever :)
I'm also addicted to apple juice! Ice cream sandwiches (the 100calories minis are perfect) are also a favourite. Scrambled eggs, blueberries pancakes too, and I second the Kraft Dinner!!
I find my cravings change all the time, but for the past two days it's been mac and cheese (not the box kind) so I'm probably going to need to make some. I've also been a cereal junkie since the first trimester (when that was one of the few things that didn't make me want to hurl). Unfortunately thanks to heartburn I have to ignore my cravings for spicy foods and pizza and most Mexican and Italian foods, which is very tragic.
Those cheapo 59 cent banana popsicles from the dep, Coke (not proud), mango, iced tea. And at about 6 weeks pregnant, I ate 6 Filet o Fish in 24 hours - and I never eat McDo. Yay me! Yay you!
Mmm... Frank's. That addiction is still with me!
My biggest craving was for pickled ginger - not the kind that goes with sushi, but the kind that is still hard and crisp. Bizarrely, I couldn't stand bacon, and I love bacon!
Disgustingly comforting, enjoy...
