Manhood

On Saturday afternoon I went to check out Manhood, a new clothing store for men located on St-Laurent Boulevard in Mile End. Manhood happens to occupy the space once owned by one of the city's poshest design boutiques, Les Commissaires, and, more importantly, it's the brainchild of an old high school friend of mine!

Julie and her business partner Sandy have done an amazing job of transforming this bare space into a modern yet casual boutique. I was particularly enthusiastic about the clever design ideas Julie came up with including a shoe display built out of old encyclopedias found at Value Village and a signature wall where customers can leave their mark!

If you happen to be shopping in the area, you should definitely stop in and say hello!
