Don't get me wrong, I will gladly suffer Sweaty McSlamDancer if the band is worth it, and I have to say that the truly great live performances I've experienced over the years vastly outweigh the bad ones. Chromeo is a great example of a concert worth seeing. I saw them in 2008 when they were promoting Fancy Footwork, the group's sophomore album that launched them from relative obscurity to mainstream success.
If you ask me they still don't get the love they deserve. Six years ago, when Chromeo were producing synth-pop like it was nobody's business, they were classed as 'guilty pleasure music'; now everyone and their mother rocks a Casio with a Vocoder.
Chromeo will be joined by fellow dance floor heroes Holy Ghost!, whose EP Static on the Wire is making a bit of a splash.
Let the good times roll.

love Chromeo! Sadly, they won't be hitting up Edmonton.
Loved their Montreal show in '08...although I felt like the oldest person there!
