It's inevitable. Summer approaches and I want to lighten my hair. Years ago this meant an annual pilgrimage to the hair salon to get blonde highlights but now my hair can't handle the damage it causes. I also want something more subtle, not as light. I spotted this gorgeous girl on A La Mode Montreal and I've got to say I'm still diggin' the whole dark-roots-fading-into-a-lighter-shade look. Even though it will probably wreck my hair, I think I might give it a shot.

she really does have perfect hair- i was just contemplating losing the blondey locks and go au natural - it's so $ to maintain!
