Sacred Cow

Yesterday Mike, his mother, brothers, and I took a day trip to Manchester. This was not a sightseeing trip but rather a shopping expedition. The sales have started here and I've waited long enough to explore all that British retailers have to offer!! Of course the weather tried to stand in our way - there was sun, snow, hail and rain in a two hour period!! - but we would not be deterred. Our first stop was Cow, an AMAZING vintage store with 3 other locations in Northern England. I can honestly say that it's the greatest vintage clothing store I've ever been to. It was like stepping into a purely vintage American Apparel store filled with vintage leather boots, bags and clothing.

I was totally overwhelmed by all the treasures so all I could settle on was this adorable vintage leather bow purse for 6 pounds (or about 12$ CDN). Mike also found a great vintage navy knit Lacoste sweater vest sold for the bargain price of 5 pounds (roughly 10$ CDN)!!
