How does one pack for a trip where one might encounter everything from sand to snow to beaches to mountains? I usually love obsessing over what to pack for a trip but this adventure is proving to be quite the packing challenge. Mike says I'm an over packer and he may be right but this time I want to avoid bringing too much stuff because a) I plan doing A LOT of shopping and b) we'll be traveling around so much that I only want to bring what is necessary and practical. Having said that, I hate being practical and so, to fulfill my need to bring the entire contents of my closet, I though I'd share my virtual dream suitcase with you. In other words, what I would pack if I had an infinite amount of space and money.
Let's begin with the items I would "need" over Christmas time in England's Peak District.
Some warm and waterproof footwear - the sneakers are for the pub.
A variety of hats and scarves
Warm knitted cardigans with jeans and leggings
And finally a couple of Burberry jackets (I said infinite money didn't I) and a North Face fleece.
