After donating at the door, we were entitled to 3 cupcakes of our choice from both professional and amateur bakers. I was so impressed with the variety and talent! Mike kept saying "I'm overwhelmed, I'm overwhelmed."

We picked out some interesting cupcakes including Peppermint Chili Chocolate, Dulce de Leche and Pancake Batter with Maple Frosting.

Andrea also contributed what could have possibly been one of the most awesome cupcakes there - Bounty Bar Cupcakes with homemade bounty bars on top of a chocolate ganache icing (below).

Yum-my! The event was a huge success and tons of money was raised for Kids Help Phone. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to make Cupcake Camp Montreal happen and a big thanks to Anile for the invite (and all her hard work).

Oh yum!! I am really craving a delicious icing-topped cupcake now!
It all looks so spectacularly delicious. I can understand how you were so overwhelmed, but I'm amazed that you only managed to eat part of one. Those flavors sound delicious. I think I may have a new project for 2010.
you know what, the "cupcake camp" sign is pretty neat; they used Century Gothic which, surprisingly, I don't think I've ever seen before on signs, titles, or logos.
Actually, the new "Bell" logo seems to be a variation of Century Gothic, and that's about as much as I've seen of it.
Oh yeah, cupcakes, I am sooooooo jealous, I want to eat like 50 right now!
Hey Marie-Eve!! I love the cupcakes you guys chose! It was SO NICE to see you, wish we could have chatted longer - we need a full-on leisurely meal to hang out and catch up... looking forward to that when you get back :) Thanks so much for coming down, it was loads of fun and we raised 8000$ For Kids Help Phone! Thank-you Andrea for your beautiful contribution!! xoxo
Third photo, bottom row, middle cupcake--I think that one is mine! (I may or may not have mistakenly baked 7 dozen cupcakes for this thing.)
what a great fundraiser! that sounds like so much fun.
