Let's re-group

I took this picture at MoMA last summer. The images are by an anonymous photographer who’s shadow appears in every single picture on display. Not only did I find the subject matter intriguing but I just loved the way the images were displayed. It really made an impact when you walked into that room.

You don't need a big blank museum wall to recreate this look at home. In fact, I think that frame arrangements on small walls or in awkward nooks look fantastic. It's more about creating a composition out of the pictures you hang than it is about symmetry and proportion. And why just stick to frames? Try mixing in some objects. You'll end up with a wall that tells a story.

OMG where did you find that last picture??? I love the way the wall is painted underneath all the frames. I want to live in that room.
