I fell in love with this space the second I saw it. I was not surprised to find out that the homeowner, Eve, works in the creative field because her loft is filled with quirky details, classic designs and colourful accents. I had a really hard time narrowing down the pictures to share with you because every single one showcased her keen eye for design.
"I've been living in my loft since June 2007. I was one of the first to move in - in fact, I was alone on my floor for a few weeks! It was like a very lovely ghost town."
"My favorite basic piece is my Saarinen table by Knoll. I've wanted one since I was a kid, clipping pictures of it in my dad's architecture and design magazines. It really "makes the room" and is perfect for dinner parties."

"I would describe my decorating style as mid-century modern with a hit of sixties retro. I am also very structured and organized, but not a minimalist. I like to mix old and new and to give new life to old items. Basically, my style is "whatever makes me happy"!"

Thanks Eve!

wow! great apartment and great table. i know what you mean about always having wanted something since you were a kid, and then you finally get it.
i finally got a danish credenza from the 50s. i love it!!! worth waiting 20 yrs for.
I confess that I'm getting a little bored of the "mid-century credenza blablabla" that you can see almost everywhere now and tends to lack personality. Not here! I love how everything has a place and a story. Everything has been chosen and cherished before finding a place. It's quirky, fun and very elegant. Plus, you should see her new chairs!
